Who we are
Meet the team
David Valmorbida
As a member of the family, David grew up in and out of Conga Foods since his teenage years. In 2011, after starting his professional life outside the family business, he was appointed to the role of Group CEO of Conga’s parent company, and in 2014 became Executive Chairman, incorporating the Conga Foods CEO role from 2015.
He has passion, drive, and expertise, with hands-on experience across the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), food service and 3PL businesses. With a previous career in management consulting at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), he is skilled in various areas of strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions, cultural transformation, and corporate governance across a wide range of industries including aviation, financial services, automotive, FMCG/retail, public sector, construction, logistics, and mining. He also held various roles at Mercedes Car Group and is currently President of the Australian Olive Oil Association (AOOA), and Director of the Melbourne International Jazz Festival.
David is a food fanatic, with a philosophy of creativity and adaptation in the kitchen. Despite some fancy cooking skills, he still believes nothing beats a lovingly made 4-hour ragu for a bowl of pasta, some homemade bread and a good bottle of red.
David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Bus. Mgmt.) / Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace) double degree from RMIT, a Masters of Business Administration (Dean’s List) from INSEAD and is an Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) graduate.

As a sales functional expert who has demonstrated strength leading business transformation and managing change, he is highly analytical with the proven ability to simplify complex ideas and business problems. He has an open and collaborative leadership style and interacts easily with people at all levels of the organisation.
Since joining Conga Foods, Daniel has come to appreciate the importance of simple, quality ingredients and believes that when it comes to cooking there’s only one rule – flavour is king.
Nunzy Corso
Joining Conga Foods in 2009, Nunzy has an impressive 25+ years’ experience in the industry, holding senior accounting and commercial roles at various organisations including Chiquita Mushrooms, KH Foods, and Cedenco Australia.
Nunzy has proven success in leading and managing several commercial, IT and finance teams. He has strong commercial understanding, significant experience in cash flow, accounting, and FX management, combined with foundational experience via a Bachelor of Business in Accounting. An asset to the Conga Foods leadership team over the last 13 years.
On a personal level, Nunzy enjoys spending time uncovering new favourites in the kitchen –Rummo gluten free spaghetti with Val Verde or Cirio pasta sauce. When he’s cooking up something different, it’s usually a bit experimental. He is always prepared for a spontaneous family catch-up.
Miki Stefanovic
In 2019 Miki was appointed to the role of General Manager Supply Chain at Conga Foods and earned the additional title of Chief Operating Officer of Pakval in 2020.
A seasoned industry professional with 25+ years of experience, Miki has held senior supply chain and operations roles at Manassen, Mondelez, Encore Tissue, and Carter Holt Harvey. With significant executive experience across FMCG supply chains and fast-paced environments, as well as leadership roles across warehousing, local and international logistics, external and internal manufacturing, procurement, planning and quality assurance, he has developed a keen eye for structural developments and continuous improvements.
When it comes to leadership in the kitchen, Miki heads up more of an experimental approach. For him, cooking is about trying to balance different flavours and textures, while ensuring the dish doesn’t get too complicated.
Miki holds a Masters in Engineering (Supply Chain), Postgrad Diploma in Business and Finance, Executive Certificate in Supply Chain from MIT, and is a Graduate of Sustainable Supply Chain Management from Harvard University.
